Latest Work: The Journey Part I

I’m currently writing some cinematic music. This is the first track called “The Journey Part I”. I’m using East West Samples for all the orchestra-stuff. The sound quality (24 bit) is pretty awesome and I really like the natural (recorded) reverb.

I took this promotion stop-motion-video and wrote some freakin’ new music for it… Hope you like it. By the way: very nice clothes, don’t you think?

For all you home-recording-junkies out there: I’ve used some pretty cool 8bit Plugins for this track. Peach is a sample-based plugin wich simulates NES-Sounds. Wide range of different sounds and polyphon. I really like that thing!

Furthermore I found the Magical 8bit Plugin. It’s also freeware and you can do some great bass-sounds with it. The 12.5%pulse Waveform is pretty awesome for this purpose.

The third plugin I found is the ymVST which does some very authentic Atari ST chipsounds. I used it for the melody. Everyone who played some games on Atari back in the days can confirm that this one really sounds like the original. I like.

As you can hear I was inspired by bands like Sigur Ros and This Will Destroy You for this track. Check these bands out… but I’m sure you already know them for some time… nevertheless… they’re great.

Greed: Black Border in US and Russia

I’ve finished the modifications for Greed Black Border. Now all cinematic scenes are also available in english and russian. The game will be published there in january. I’m very excited and happy that there will be so many people listening to my soundtrack all around the world. It’s pretty cool, I think.
